  1. I’d like to see you guys cover the disappearance of the Beaumont kids from Adelaide in 1966. I am always amazed when people go missing without a trace 🙁

  2. Another thing with the name pronunciation is that names are often translated when going between languages, so while the Dutch/European pronunciation would be 'Gochk', the English pronunciation would be 'Go'/'Goh'. It's the same reason 'Francis' in English can be 'Fransua' in French.

  3. Okey hey, I am Dutch, and for all the artist nerds out there…. you don't say a "K" in van gogh name

The way Ryan and shane were joking about are closer to how you say it.

So…….. no "K" in van Gogh

  4. Were the possessions Van Gogh left on the day he was shot recovered?Perhaps upon hearing his brother is on the verge of bankruptcy he decided to use some of his new found fame to sell some of his stuff to a collector or art fan to help out his brother who he felt he was burdening by existing and when he arrived at the meeting location instead of being payed he was robbed and shot

  5. Hold on. You did not start the thumb war properly, you guys completely skipped over "5, 6, 7, 8 try to keep your thumb straight." Even if that's just a midwest thing, Shane "I'm from Chicago" Madej definitely knows about the full declaration of thumb war.

  6. I wounded myself is a mistranslation of either ‘ik heb mezelf bezeerd’ or french ‘je m’ai fait mal’ both mean ‘im hurt’ but in these languages this phrase is self referential.

  7. I think if this is true he didn’t ask anyone to kill him. His response of “I think so” to whether he did it was due to his wanting his death enough to feel like he brought it about through wishful thinking.

  8. As a Dutch speaker, I still want to hear them try to actually pronounce it correctly, because none of those attempts at pronunciations were anywhere close 😂😂😂 Dutch G's are pronounced more like guttural H's, in the back of your throat.

  9. A interesting story to look into for future episodes would be the disappearance of Allen Ross and the suspected killer Linda Greene who was never convicted.

  10. Deeply funny that you mispronounced the username of the person who complained about the pronunciation…very certain their username was i'm a spastic hawk, not whatever Ryan said.
